Clodagh Deegan is a Costume Designer whose background and training is in Film, but whose work in the last decade has also encompassed Theatre and Opera.
She has worked extensively with John McIlduff and Brian Irvine of Dumbworld, designing costumes for productions including “Things We Throw Away”, a series of Street Operas commissioned by Dublin City Council; “The Oldest Woman in Limerick”, commissioned by Limerick City of Culture /Wide Open Opera and “Two Angels Play I Spy” a mapped video projection premiered at the Waterford Walls Festival 2019.
Her Costume Design for film has included “Citizen Lane” a docu-drama directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan; “Arracht”, a period feature directed by Tom O’Sulivan; “HerStory”, a six-part series for RTE directed by Rachel Lysaght and Kim Bartley and most recently “The Warning”, a Screen Ireland Short Focus project, directed by Sinead Murphy.
